Penetrating gallbladder injury in a pediatric patient: a case report

چکیده

Penetrating gallbladder injuries are uncommon in the pediatric population. The treatment varies according to severity of injury and patient’s hemodynamics. We present case an 11-year-old male with accidental pellet gunshot wound right upper abdomen that resulted a grade III liver laceration damage anterior wall. patient underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy drain placement. Postoperative radiography surgical specimen confirmed presence gallbladder. recovered uneventfully was discharged home on postoperative day 3.
